I’ve decided that the first step towards discovering my passion must be simplification. How can I expect to discover what my passions are when I am so busy that I don’t even have time to think?
I kept trying to take on everything at once: creating cleaning routines, fixing my diet and health, exercising more, increasing my income, finding new hobbies, spending more time with family, etc etc. No wonder I feel so exhausted all the time!
Yes all of these things are very important to me. But trying to become a different person overnight simply won’t work!
Babysteps. One thing at a time. And after taking some time to think about it I realized that the first step ought to be simplification. I need to clear out all of the things from my life that aren’t working for me. And then that will make room for the things that will work for me.
So the very first thing I’m focusing on is clearing out the clutter. My house is full of things that I rarely or never use. And when I do need something, I can’t find it. At first I was trying to make money off of these things. But I’m starting to realize that some of it I just need to clear out so I can move on to the next step. If I hang onto it until I can get my money back for it, I’ll never be in the peaceful, relaxing home that I dream about.
